At the 2016 Patent Information Users Group (PIUG) Annual Conference , we introduced patent search professionals to Deep Learning AI. We provided examples of the Similarity Word Graph, to demonstrate the basics of the modeling process, and how it automatically yields all kinds of 'o-nyms' from the native patent data. We showed how company names can be modeled to find other companies filing patents with similar titles - yielding useful business intelligence.
